This page shows the knives I've been working on recently, because I'm so busy with commissions that I haven't had time to finish anything for sale. This year, I plan to factor in more time for my own personal designs, and if all goes to plan, they should be available online later in the spring. In the meantime, these knives show the directions I've been working in lately...

Eclipse Tanto
This is a tanto I'm working on at the moment: I'm very pleased with the blade, and am hoping to get time to finish the fittings soon!

You might recognise this blade from the 'Progress' section. Here, it has been fitted with a carved walnut handle (unpolished in this picture) and antique ivory pommell cabochon. COMMISSION - £300

Carved Blade

Blued Walnut Dagger
This is my most recent dirk : the intricately carved walnut sheath displays the blued blade. COMISSION - £950

This progress picture shows the blade shape and grind (as yet unblued) and the cutout ricasso.

Rifle Knife
This Rifle Knife should be finished soon. It was inspired by my thoughts about bowies (see designs below). A good old working knife...

The concave grind on this straight razor was something I've never tried before, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. A simple design, with hammered copper and antler handle.

1095 Seax

My own project (on the back burner at the moment) a seax of ancient style, with a sculpted and carved handle. I'm pleased with this, and eager to finish it.

This image shows the cloudy hamon on the seax's long blade, forged from 1095 steel.

Coffin Handled Bowie
I've been thinking about historical bowie knives recently. This is a classic 'Coffin Handle' that I hope to get a chance to make in the near future.

I would want this bowie to have a very distinct hamon. I enjoy the slightly gentler curves of the handle in this design, contrasting with the major blade.
